About Aeon
Aeon is an app that shows how strongly the sun is aging your skin, wherever you are, and when it will ease.
What Aeon does
Most of the visible aging of the face comes from sunlight, and mainly from UVA, the part of sunlight that the UV index does not count. Aeon calculates the Aeon Index, the UV index for aging, for your exact location. It tells you when it is safe to be outside, when to protect your skin, and when to avoid the sun.
Why we made it
The tools people rely on were built for sunburn. The UV index can read low while the light that ages skin is still strong: in the morning, in the late afternoon, under cloud, in winter, and through a window. People who care about their skin had no way to see that light. Aeon makes it visible, so that protecting your skin becomes a matter of timing instead of guesswork.
What we believe

- Private. Aeon uses your location only while the app is open, to fetch the forecast for where you are. Your data is never sold.
